Shown the way to the darkness down below

What lies there are secrets left untold

I look to serpents as my trusted guide

Showing me the ways that are kept inside

The things they told, powers to behold

Made me fear that I would lose control

For I felt the trembling in my heart

As I now start my journey into the dark

Holding on to what's left of my humanity

As I try to fight off all this insanity

But it's no use my efforts are in vain

The powers are too much for one to gain

Corrupted by the all the darkness from within

The battle's lost and I can't seem to win

This madness has now taken it's toll

As I feel the darkness tearing at my soul

Kept locked away in the dark

I've now become it's master

The darkness now bends to my will

And I one day shall demonstrate

Now I lay in eternal slumber waiting for my release

So that I shall on day expand what's now my domain

Make them all follow me into the chasms below

Give unto me as I am the father of the abyss
