beliefs to be eradicated

assimilated

into a society

by those in line

with the cross

taken away

from their families

to be enslaved

by followers of god

given new names

new identities

in hopes to forget

who they once were

they claim it's in the name of god

they claim it's for their own good

they claim their way is the only way

and any other way is false

fools I say they all are

being deceived by devout leaders

only knowing of one way

never bothering to learn of others

now they're left waiting for the day to come

they will pay for what they've done

for now it's too late to make amends

they had their time

now it shall end
