Open my eyes that I may see

Wonderful things in Your law

With my lips I recount all the laws

That come from Your mouth

I rejoice in following

Your statutes as one

Rejoice in great riches

I'm a pilgrim a foreign land

I have chosen the way of truth

Please, let me be guided by Your laws

How happy are those who

Obey and seek You with all their hearts

I pray that my actions reflect Your Sacred Word

Lord, teach me Your decrees

Take me away from the way of lies

Strengthen me with Your Word

May my soul not drown in sorrow

I will thank You for learning to live

Properly as Your statutes dictate

Your decrees are the theme of my songs

And ligth to my journey

Accept this praise and

Teach me more about You

About Your Word

If Your Word were not my pleasure

I’d have died in my suffering

I’ve kept it in my heart

So that I might not sin on You

You are my refuge and my shield

And I’ll follow Your laws until the end

Sign my steps so that sin will not dominate me, no more

Teach me Your precepts

So that I may live

Your decrees are the theme of my songs
