Morbid fears overcomes my soul

as it's drenched in ashes

fear drapes this sickened realm

as malevolence breeds throughout existence

If this was life, death must be heaven

Undone come grasping to breathe

the corridor once open now closed

dead inside as there's no calm now to reach

all hope to prevail slowly turns to dust

No faith in their dim view of afterlife

no faith as death draws near

Dead and gone forever no life goes on

slowly rot away as decomposition comes

fed to the soil we once sprung from

and end as good as any

The closing chapters will unfold

telling of a future so dead and cold
