Lies reveal the truth of endless games played with my youth

So much has passed that it's hard to believe

That a man like me could be so naive

Silence adds to the pain of a broken heart, ruthlessly slain

Life must go on and not stand still

What was my future is now my past

Right, but proven wrong is how it began

How I got lost but by dragging your feet  and bidding my time

My vision clears and you're just a damn lie

Lies have a way of making you see

Of showing the way
