See how enchantingly the stars seem to shine,
Above this cold place of mourning.
I feel a thousand thorns slicing through my heart,
Below this majestic black tower.
I see the ravens circling through the fog.
I can feel death is stalking me.
But how can I leave this place without you, to die in dignity?
Here am I, the empty shell
Grief has torn me apart
Here am I and this emptiness
Howling winds in the dark
And if the stars shine along the rivers,
And if the moon guides your way,
I will be there with a torch at the end of the forest,
I'll be there to swallow your fear.
So here I lie, leafs slipping through my fingers,
now I understand what loss truly means.
I see your face floating into darkness.
I feel your hand searching for me.
Behold a new sun will rise,
Here in this tower it doesn't shine for me
Here am I, the empty shell
Grief has torn me apart
Here am I and this emptiness
Howling winds in the dark
And if the stars shine along the rivers,
And if the moon guides your way,
i will be there with a torch at the end of the forest,
I'll be there to swallow your fear.
A coffin made of stone , no redemption
A blaze across the sky, above the black old tower
