I have dreams, nightmares Visions of a pretty place now in decay When I wake up bathing in my sweat I realize that dreamworld starts outside I wish you were inside head And that you could see through my imperilled eyes Watching the seas of thirst While we destroy the food that we don't sell Life itself contains it's pleasures But still the rich live next door to the poor Live on earth is fullfilled with riches Such a shame that not all are dealt a fair hand I have dreams, nightmares Visions of a pretty place now in decay I wish you could see through my eyes See our food rot while others starve and fade Seas of thirst, piles of food While we grow fat famine strikes around the world Can we not just quench our greed Share our food and irrigate some lands Life itself contains it's own pleasures But still the rich live next door to the poor Live on earth is fullfilled with riches Such a shame that not all are dealt a fair hand
