A full moon unveiled in all it's nightly glory
Corpses of battle encircled me, unsightly gory
Rain starts to fall from the heavens above
Clouds start to sing a song filled with wrath
Thunder cracks and roars across the land
Yet I resonated with it's deafening growls
The downpour washed the blood away
From the many corpses that lay in defeat
As the rain drops also hit my skin and steel
I shut my eyes and embrace the feeling of my stains and wounds from battle being cleansed
I stood dormant for a few moments of time
Then I gathered the strength I had left
To walk back into the forests to rest
Stumbling over the thousand corpses
Until I had crossed past the stonewall barriers
That surrounded and covered the dead in shadow
Going forth into the dead seas of trees
Nothing but brittle wood towering over land
A shadow of gloom was conquering all of life
I rested against a miserable dead tree
Helplessly I fell into a deep slumber
My mind had voyaged into a dream
There I felt hypnotized yet in peace
I was standing in a wide field of green
The sun emitted bright shades of orange
White marble pillars formed a circle around
a shrine made of branches and leaves
There stood the goddess clad in a white robe
Her eyes glowed a golden divine light
And both of her eyes fell on my presence
Possessing me with her gaze, she commands me to not cease in fighting this sacred battle
This sacred battle...
The morning arrives, the sky dim and gray
Awakening from the dream, ashes suddenly fall from the skies like snow, the smell of flame at it's mightiest
Beasts from the hellish depths have begun their merciless warfare
Towards the vast distance I gazed, fire erupts from the distant mountains and hills
They arise from the cavities of the earth that led to below
Vile incarnations forged from the ancient flesh and fire
I stood my ground in the woodlands gripping my blade of mythical and divine power
My body may be frail and spent, yet spirit thrived in the deepest roots of my heart
A dreadfully solitary warrior I was, but within me was courageous hope
The wave of beasts draw nearer towards my direction, I had drawn my sword, it glowed and shined brighter than ever before
Like a wave hitting the shores, the violent clash began
Drowning in the crowd of beasts, slashing away with my blade
Showering in their vile impure sanguine elixir of life
Each slash gave me a satisfying edge of bloodlust and power
Blood splatters on the sacred wood and ground
The limbs of theirs twitch despite decapitation
I stand alone and alive, the defeated surrounds me yet again...
