The tales of my journeys
Spread apart around the folk
Across the lands in glamour
Yet I still wander in solitude
Years have passed away
Since my last struggle
Since the last shed of blood
Since the time of violence
Yet, I sense a new darkness
Creeping from outside the forest
A foreign power of devilry
Slowly taking the forest's life
In the nocturne and light I guarded
The vast crowds of trees and hills
Each passing day, the trees grew grim
Mother nature's voice slowly fading
It was not long before each leaf has fallen
From the tall trees that were all once lively
The daylight sky above almost dark as night
Distances covered in a gloomy fog
It was time to go on a new journey
A quest to defeat the cause of this death
And so I wandered through the dead forest's paths
Filled with dread, as I saw nature's death before my own eyes
From a lively green to a grim and grey darkness
The power within my blade now dying with nature
Reduced to a mere worn and old blade
The steel armor I wore rusting away
Yearning to be in total glory again
Yet I had to face the darkness soon
Seven moons pass by, the power within me had dimmed
Fragile and frail again, like a flawed mortal human
I wandered through lifeless lands, the beauty of life in demise
Passing through kingdoms that had fallen into chaos and disorder
A deathly famine unleashed upon kingdoms
Dark legions had risen from the depths of eternal fire
A legion of creatures birthed from an infinity of torture
Chanting cursed spells of apocalyptic power
Oh how dread filled me to the brim of my soul
Yet light still persists in my heart of bravery
I held on to the last bits of valor I had
To convince the men in utter fear to fight for their world
With the last courage left within me
I called out to the kings of this land
To march together and go against evil itself
Together they raised their swords
And let out a cry of might
They marched through thick and thin
Ten thousand brave warriors
Their gear clashing against each other
Singing ancient battle hymns
As they go on their last journey
Horses neighing in courage and fear
Heading onwards to infernal fire
Galloping through fields of ruins
