An army of pure courage and glory
Their steel boots stepping on muddy soil
Thousands of footsteps emitting a rhythm
Triumphant hearts filled with braveness
I point the tip of my sword at the distance
It slowly shined bright as the sunlight
In my ears I heard a familiar voice
Her voice soothing and encouraging
It was the voice of the Goddess
The world around me fell to a freeze
A ray of light from the clouds hitting the soil...
Her figure hovered down in front of me
The beauty of hers was fading away
Darkness was rotting her from in and out
She held my chin up and made me look deep into her once breathtaking eyes,
that was now a haunting void that possessed visions of the past, present and future.
My eyes flashed within seconds, uncountable realities crossed through me
I had now realized that I have chosen the darkest path, where many sacrifices needed to be made.
I shut my eyes then opened them again
My surroundings went back to normal
I commanded we marched on
Towards the fortress of shadow
Where evil resided within it
The gate drew closer and closer
Each footstep we took felt like a warning
The mountains grew taller and nearer
We soon heard the growls of the hellish abominations
We arrived at the front of the gate
A light of fiery red flashed on us
A thousand creatures charging at us
Demonic entities wearing the beast's sign
We drew our swords and shields then we clashed
Limbs flying away, blood dropping like rain
I swang my sword away, killing all in my path..
The battle raged on till the sun sank
The ground was nourished with blood
A mass of warriors ripped apart and shredded
Yearning for the battle to be ended
My sword and shield bloodied
Few of us remained, the enemy mocks us
Enraged I felt, pure hatred in my heart
My sword trembled in sudden power
I and who remained charged at them
Swinging, Slicing, Stabbing, Bashing
Showering in their impure blood
The remains of mother nature's
power flowed through me
Moonlight shined as we fought
Thrusting my blade between their glowing eyes
Decapitating their horned heads
In a flash - I had killed all of them
Blood and guts dripping all over
The atmosphere was eerily quiet
I took off my dented helmet
Nothing was alive apart from me...
