I am alone in hell it seems

In a world of lies and broken dreams

In agony my soul it screams

But no one hears or cares it seems

Feeling lost and wanting more

Is this cause worth fighting for

The truth so clear yet still ignored

How much self deception can we afford

I’ve looked every direction for something I must find

But it seems like there’s no answer to the question in my mind

And it feels like tomorrow is so far away

I need some peace of mind just to make it through today

We’re standing on a path we feel we’ve come so far

But history repeats itself and reminds us who we are

And it feels like understanding is so far away

Instead of looking for it you just close your eyes and pray

Don’t push your opinions on me

I’m alone and I want to be free

Your ‘vision’ I’ll never see

Your point-of-view is not reality

We desire world peace but it is far too late

You say that you’re god’s chosen few and you must dominate

This one-dimensional thinking will haunt us ‘till the end

Religion is not an answer it’s just a favored trend

We wont find the answer until death greets us all

We must learn to live together before we hear that call

And it feels like resolution is so far away

It seems impossible that we’ll achieve it all some day
