Draped in the morning’s rays
Eyes like water drops, glisten
No spring ever pure
Could cleanse the visions portrayed
She glances the heavens
Trees sway, like flinging arms
How quick the sun cowers
The tempest claims the day
Eyes like drowning fronds
Without a sound she is screaming
No god takes pity
A song plays in her mind
Despite the wind’s rage
She walks, unnerved and calm
The tempest entranced
It forgets to unleash the rain
Hypnotized by her bold stance
The tempest blinded and fooled
The winds did not cease for her
The menacing clouds were moved
As much as it struggled
Her image faded in the distance
He felt the weight of his sorrow
And would flood the lands anew...
