Foreboding love of ages past, happily recounted

The insanity of the sky, rides upon clouds of memory

Fingers of elation grasping at lingering death

The eyes of a child, to see for the last time

Shouting with lasting misery, softly calling

Devoured by tears, hallowed faces turn away

Feasting 'til hungry to madden the sane

Great mountains of buried hope fly in defiance

God greets the sinner with open heart

To love without giving, stolen from intimacy

Discarded symphonies touch us with pain.
