Born of a woman into moral flesh

Son of God dwelt in this mess

To be destroyed

Innocent Lamb upon whom the Father's pleasure rests

Accumulating the fullness of earned righteousness

Never stumbled once, tempted as we

Walked to Golgotha of His own will faithfully

As His creatures scourged and pierced Him

He received the Father's wrath

To be destroyed

The human heart utterly corrupt

Nothing less could be done

To put our godless nature to an end (to be destroyed)

Through one man, death spread to all because all sin

However, death in all its might cannot hold the sinless

Unable to be contained, the Anointed burst open the gates of death

If the ground could not hold Him, it will not hold His sheep

He has cancelled our certificate of debt

Consisting of decrees against us, having nailed them to the cross

To be destroyed

Though we pass through the veil

The depths of Sheol will not prevail (to be destroyed)

In the final days of earth, He'll put death in its own grave

To be destroyed
