Against the shores of death

Is this heaven or hell?

I am left as merely an empty shell

of that which I once was

My skeletal wings spread

Torn the flesh of this vessel

Risen from nothing

Standing tall on the shores of death

Where o where do we go?

When there's nothing left

An eternal limbo

Within the darkest shades of black

We suffer without reason

Bleeding for the burden of being alive

When o when will you rise?

From the endless sea of ash

What will you become?

When your body succumbs to the earth

What will you do?

When nothingness is all to exist

See for thee

The ashen sky

Close your eyes

Listen to the bell that tolls

And answer the call

Will your soul wander forever?...
