Many years ago there was a dragon fly

Strong and young in its mind

Searching for the sun in the big open sky

Such a purity, there's no one of this kind

Every day was full of novelties

Its ideal was to fly into the sun

But although it saw all the world's beauty

It flew home very sad and down

Then one day, oh, my God

The sun started to grow, indeed

That's the feeling! the dragon fly thought

That's it! Finally I suceed!

The sun was closer than even before

The dragon fly approached, oh, how good it felt!

Blinded by the light it couldn't see anymore

It enjoyed the warmth but it wings started to melt

Endless bliss, brightness and beauty

But then the heat got much too strong

He felt pain inside its body

Burning rainbow wings – something was wrong

What happened? An illusion has confused his mind

He understood that the sun was a fake

It was a fireball made by mankind

He lied on the ground without his wings,

what a mistake!

The dragon fly had turned into a human being

He wasn't able to fly anymore

How sad he was screaming and crying

Imprisoned forever on the floor

He continued, his human life went by

But the humans were so strange to him

He missed the times when he was a dragon fly

Out in the swamps where sun was dim

The beautiful light had not been the sun

The dream he had followed wasn't real

The human had built a nuclear bomb

They destroy the love but they don't see...
