Staring at the bars on the window

Jagged and jaded, a long line of mistakes

Locked up, the languid chains are hollow

Depleted will provides the strength

Four walls to hold you

Cloaked in cold security

Search the surroundings over and over

Hoping to someday find a key

 Unearthly warden hear my call

Get me to where I want to go

If this oppression won’t abate

Get me beyond this frozen gate

Get me escape

Stranded on a perilous planet

Outside of an upside, beneath the wheels

Another earth with all the worth wrung out

Familiar only in a haze

How did I get here?

Feels like it’s been a hundred years

But somewhere there’s a hidden horizon

And sometimes the answers aren’t all clear
