Waking up from frantic dreams

Rethinking all the grotesque scenes

Pillaging graveyards for the right being

Piecing together flesh

I wish you could have seen

Creating life in the name of science

Pushing boundaries as far as they'll go

You say that I'm insane

But you just don't know

A visionary taking back what God stole

Giving life after death

Without God's breath

Science can light the fire

To prevent us from expire

Wishing for more time

The sands are all mine

No more feeling this dread

Because we'll never be dead

Fever starts to set in quick

As the seat begins to drip

I'm in torment for what I've done

The monster I created can't be undone

Playing god was a mistake

These thoughts plague me as I wake

The blood that has stained my hands

Will never be clean again
