The past is burned away

Far wall of this chamber opens

Revealing a distant shimmer

The hills in front of me

Appear black and grey

Acid rain dripping down from the clouds above

A vision witnessed never before

The air is poisoned

Earth beneath my feet covered in ash

Bodies once in piles turned to sand

As far as the eye can see

Banished from the domain

Of the living

Never to return

Hallucinations taking over

Sanity transforms to decay

Heading

To the mountains

In the horizon

Reaching for the sky

Above the stars

Transcending

Becoming

One with the aether
