The Forest of the Visigoth Lyrics

Somewhere in the forest

The giants’ town was.

A proud land of proud people,

Peaceful and calm.

The chieftain of the giants

With family hiking was,

He couldn’t foresee

The enemy’s attack.

‘You must know,

Thus everybody knows,

That this land is now our country.

So you, giants,

Monsters of Aralia,

Must be banished

In uttermost agony.

In the Forest of the Visigoth!

♫

Finally the chieftain arrived

To the shattered valley

Now they were aimed as the targets

The humans charged and the chieftain perished

‘Run to the forest my dearest boy

Save thyself from these horrors.’

‘Forgive me, Mother? I cannot go"

But he ran, and he ran and he vanished in

The Forest of the Visigoth

Bretton went running

Through the broken branches

Crying for his mum,

His dad and his people.

From the slaughter.

‘Blessed God,

Give me strength,

I don't

Want to die here!’

Behind a soldier,

He came running

Sword in his hand,

Sweeping strikes,

Aiming Bretton.

Giant down,

Fallen to the ground,

When all hope is gone…
