it shatters the illusion of life

Few there are who strive

Leaving them beaten and demoralized.

burnt in this blistering existence

tossed as ashes to the wind

and a name hath been lent to the flame

of consciousness

Lay down your mortal

Inhibitions

Only then may you understand

That which cannot be grasped

While clinging to an inane

Hope in life

Give in to your yearning for

For the world beyond

so much simpler is the journey down

the path that has already been tread

Passing beyond lifelessness

staring with eyes transfixed

leading onward

following on

those who came before

those whom follow behind

that we may continue

on the path shown them, by they

who share the power

and pass on the knowledge

as did those before us

so shall we.... depart
