Drown yourself in the holy water

My life has flashed before my eyes

with every step I take in this barren world

I feel myself fade further and further

These binds that hold me down

Abstract impediment of a thoughtless guise

Be still now, letting yourself transcend

Into the void (I feel nothing)

Into the darkness (forevermore)

Into the void (I am one)

Into the darkness (with the earth)

Prefixed in the twilight skies

we are all tarnished

It’s evident we will cease all of our progress

Regress into a simpler form

The others will simplify and mourn

As we fall further into the darkness

Destroy what is left of our meaning

Rebuild with the ashes steaming

Never will we forgive self treason

Even at the will of our reasons

The void, it calls to me
