Scotland Part I Lyrics

Do you remember when we were there?

Everything was different,

the air we breathed was so cold,

I thought I lived again.

Everything was so pure and gloomy

the ruins of black castles looked at us.

How many memories wandered through the walls

I understood that it should be my destiny.

I wish it were that time in Scotland again

made of dreams and of wind

when the darkness came so fast

looking at the moon behind the clouds.

We crossed its lands like two shadows

so much loneliness in those hills

but so much tranquillity

Rivers and lakes led us

No one was sailing those waters.

We arrived at the sea.. so grey

we walked through green fields

and in towns of stone

I was flying away and you couldn't catch me...

Edinburgh, Inverness and Loch Ness

Nessie was sleeping there but you didn't know...

You held my hands not to let me fall down

My dream was to see the lake

Highlands and the eyes on the way we took,

then an endless bridge crossed the sea,

The Isle of Skye and celtic words

Scotland is the land of my pure thoughts.
