Tundra Lyrics

Standing at the edge of my own existence...

Endless memories crumbling away

Like the barren soil beneath my feet

Britteling away... britteling away...

Cold winds streak these abundant

Areas of my soul

Lichens slowly cover the emptiness

Where shrubs start to grow into my vines

Loneliness and freedom in perfect symbiosis

Eyes reflecting the sky

While a rhizoid sprouts from the body

Till I become one with the ground

Arctic trails appear under the midnight sun

The faint smell of herbs let my spirit move on

Reconstitution and dissolution

Dissolution and reconstitution...

Escape from this place

Get rid of what holds you back

A life in solitude, a way through wasted lands

Leads nowhere but to eternal decay

Following a single rivulet, a lode between rock

Till you can't stand the pain

Drag away these mosses from your withered skin

That almost reached the innermost nucleus

The essence of humanity

Overcome it!

Reach the border and step even further

Arctic trails appear under the midnight sun

The faint smell of herbs let my spirit move on

Reconstitution and dissolution

Dissolution and reconstitution...
