Reloading my riffle checking the gear,

Looking around there`s nothing to see.

Scared faces, dead bodies fall into soldiers task.

We hit the front under heavy fire

Surrounded by blood and the barb wire.

Soldier`s task is to kill

Taking life in the name of liberty!

Shoot the bastard take his life

For his country he must die.

Kill the bastard take his soul

In his head make a hole.

For my people i`m marching forward

Avoiding shells fired by mortal.

A wish for revenge give me straight

I have to take a life there is nothing to wait.

Scared voices, deadly screams

A young man dying for his dreams.

Marching forward taking lives

This is just a soldiers task!

Use your rifle take his life

If you miss him you will die.

Use your knife cut his throat

Be a hero of their war.

Was it worth all the death?

Your country welcomed you as a hero,

And all about you can think is pain and misery.

This will haunt you all your life! But what is important

Is that you are hero! A goddamn war hero!

Remeber the fallen heroes and your fallen enemies.

When you go to the bed dream their suffer and sorrow

When you are lucky and happy remember the soliders task!
