As the veil covers the night with faint fragments of stars

I see your lips whispering words I cannot hear

Your silhouette drifting away from the days of joys

Engulfed by apathy you reached to me with lassitude

The burning fire is dying out

Promises of the past now turning to ashes



Tired of pretending that all is well

We lay in the grass under the street lights

Our hands reaching towards the black sky

We let our thoughts flow through it's vastness

Lost in our emptiness we walk still

Under this pale light

We're slowly drowning under the concrete every dream shall perish

Our aspirations relentlessly killed



The curtains fall leaving an empty stage

Our spirit raped by nihilistic thoughts

We roam  the night, forgotten by life
