Rakovalkean lämpö syleilee ja kylmä

väistyy ja elämä kuoleman voittaa

rakovalkean liekki palaa ja varjot häipyy

alla tähtitaivaan leijuvan läheisen

rakovalkean loimu valaisee ja yön pimeys

taittuu alla taivaantulien vihreän hehkun

rakotuli palaa tänä yönä, yön peitto laskeutuu

hämärä asettuu ja pimeys se saapuu

Tulen loimu, liekin loiske

savun soiro, rakotuli

Hiljalleen se palaa, koko yön se palaa

läpi yön se palaa, tämän yön se palaa

Pysähdy hetkeksi ja kuule kuinka lyö

the log fire burns slowly tonight, the cloak of night

descends, the nightfall settles, and the darkness, it arrives

The Blaze of fire, the splash of flame

a whiff of smoke, log fire

It burns slowly , it burns for the entire night
