Attempts to lure this beast from where it lays

A lack of emotion

Sits on the face, of those in pursuit

Of this creature’s existence

To make a sweet exchange, of wealth to attribute

Their names to this field of persistence

Look around

Clearly it’s life doesn’t matter

Swarms surround

This dark body of water

It screams out

And bubbles along the surface

It can’t hold out

Much longer without being possessed

Just go away

Can’t take much more

Before you become prey

And it bodies on the shore

Just leave it be

The sky is dark

And silent here

Officials embark

Because they know it’s near

Flash the top

And fire below

Overturned and dropped

Into the depths unknown

It’s made up its mind

And now it’s done laying low

Leaves a pool of blood

Lay in the depths

Years of hatred

And fear of death
