Eyes fall back

The chants turn into anthems of disgrace

This is a graveyard that we praise

Sinking slowly and rotting away

Hope is buried six feet underground

We are the face of disregard

Divide and destroy what we claim to love

Let the buildings crumble to dust

We are the savage

The cold blooded hearts of man

Say goodbye to the home you once knew

All hail the self righteous

Those who severed their hands

Their eyes are turned upwards

And faces looking downwards

The city is reduced to ash

The meek have become extinct

Selfishness reigns supreme

Corruption remains our king

We are sleepless in our ghost town

There is nothing left to mourn

There is nothing meant to celebrate

When our true colors are shining on and on

I am leaving this city behind

And when it's all said and done

Unity was something we forgot to believe in
