Glued to my T.V.

Computer & my phone

The brightly lit screen

Turns me into a drone

I can't keep my focus

On what's here day to day

These distractions keep me busy

I wouldn't have it any other way

No more need to think on it

No more ways to fight about it

Social media can't live without it

Is this why we live?

Some call it escape

But it's consuming my whole life

I prefer to stay focused on

Anything but strife

Sure I've got real problems

But I just don't seem to care

Unless it's lack of social media

Cuz that's like poison in my air

A.D.H.D.T.V.

Always staring at my phone

Turning me into a drone

Sending signals to my brain

Making me insane

Everyone I see

Everywhere I go

Turned into junk news feeds

Information overload

I need to detox

From this digital high I'm on

But when the screen is lit

You know I'm

Singing right along
