Thinking about the greatest known act of love in our human history

What it means to me? Can I grasp the magnitude of it?

It is said that the holy spirit will help us understand

Revelation for the mystery

Blind eyes made to see again

So what took place I try to imagine the scene

Beaten and tortured was the son of man

When they decided to put him to death

False accusations for the innocent one

Not a single transgression, no evil was done

Seeing the hands wide open, taking the blame

We did not know, He took our malice and all our pain

Blind eyes, cold hearts made alive again

So what took place I try to imagine the scene

Beaten and tortured was the son of man

When they decided to put him to death

False accusations for the innocent one

Not a single transgression, no evil was done

Seeing the hands wide open, taking the blame

People hammering nails on his hands in rage

Masterplan carried through the son who was slain

We did not know, He took our malice and all our pain
