Madness creeps in to steal my mind

Unwelcomed ghost of some other time

Frozen bones seek hibernation

As winter wrath breeds consternation

Memories die with fading sun

Like claustrophobia upon my tongue

Nothing lasts forever

Outside the swirling ivory hell

Frigid air so mesmerizing

For inside it I shall dwell

Pacing floors of depression

A head so full of tricks

An everlasting bitterness

Has left me Wintersick

Beneath the frozen skies

As seen through crystal eyes

Poison the soul and devouring light

Of another hypothermic night
