Another one to mourn the loss

Time stands still in these grieving hours

In bereavement I bear this cross

Heads hang low in reverence

From sickness within the womb

And death, that seems to hover

Like a black cloud over my tomb

Visions haunt lifeless eyes

One last breath as daylight dies

Darkness creeps slowly into view

Leaves me with the ghost of you
