One Final Night for Grace Lyrics

Far elsewhere doth something roar toward my locus,

ne'er have I endured such dismay;

thus mine heart sways like an ocean

left uncontained.

Nonetheless, interest sings a whim,

so I shall sail on the runlet,

inside this barque without a grin,

alongside the shore and sunset.

As I gaze beyond the fireflies,

a pale whisper slithers to me:

"?????? ?? ????? ?? ?? ????? ???????,

???? ??? ????? ?????? ???? ???!"

So I trailed those ghostly words to the torchlit pad,

with a trial of ambivalence,

then I knocked upon the door fast

without warning.

And thence it unlatched and collapsed,

which inspired a vibrant echo,

like a fierce wind schlepping its wrath

that reveals an abhorrent growl.

A wraith appears by candlelight,

phrasing her tale of tragedy:

"?? ???? ??? ?????, ??? ? ??? ????;

?????? ?????? ?? ?????? ????..."

Thereupon she spiralled away,

so I, Samuel, seized her remains;

and dug her grave in disarray

so she may sleep as this night reigns.
