I watch the world below

Bathed in sunlight’s glow

The silence is deafening

It’s the calm after the storm

With the end of civilisation

A new world is born

Where this journey once began

Alone I stand to watch its end

A final step to seal the tomb of man

The culmination of the trial

The bitter taste of man’s denial

With these words, I drink The Last Vial

I am the last here alive

Yet I still speak out loud
