Nymph of darkened dreams

So absurd it seems

That I should wake from nightly rapes

Vehement anxieties

The forest for the trees

I despise with open eyes

All of the demon I’m able to see

Of glass like scarabs on my back

To dance with haunts of pain

To be wrapped in chains

An icy love that draws warm blood

From tender cuts made with disdain

To be true to a valour so black

Angels weep
