Woods of the Myriad Lyrics

As the dusk of the horizon gazes at the throat of twilight

The darkened path we walk illuminates ancient souls fallen

Passing the corpses of our ancestors thru twisted trees

As midnight electrifies the sky with distant shades of light.

Whispering the howling winds of eternal death

Flowing echoes escaping from the lost ancients cave

The branches wrap around the forest and into the ground

Thru ribs of falling trees and skeletal vines.

The ethereal rays of the moon shed light upon this path

And in the river of blood lies the key to resurrection

We raise our hammers and raise our horns, suffocating

In the woods of the myriad, lost in sounds of the wind.

The soul now escapes the rabbid haunting torrents

Soaring in the dark sky, ancient blackened ravens horn

Towards the inevitable, endless grey clouds hang

Hovering in circles screaming their distant hunger.

The dark woods of the myriad, creeping like wolves in the mist

The ancient gathering of souls awakens their dark past

Creeping branches the sounds that whisper in the night air

Looking at the sky we're lost forever in this hellish world.

Covered in dirt and mud as the beast watches from our trees

The moonlight shadows gaze down at the trail we must follow

Chasing the horizon into an ominous twilight unbound

As mother nature wraps her twisted branches around your soul.

The whithering trees block out the light

As darkness resides below the rustling leaves

The pagan forest, what a forgotten beauty

She lies in wait for the ultimate reality.

We shudder at her natural intimacy

While the rivers and beasts take control

Your walls will crumble to the ground

As mother nature devours us all.
