Artificial form
and an inorganic soul
Reaching out,
The promise of growth
Do I acknowledge life?
It means nothing to me
As I hunger for the blight
it's presence torments me
Then embrace me, lonely child, and forget
your origins,
but believe that
from strange conditions
Good could finally come
I can temper all your fury
and show you such wonders
There is no greater prizeeeee
Than the balance of life
Part of you feels their need
For a hopeful consequence
To these lost days,
drenched in blood
And to restore the balance
Can you see, a glorious older time
Before the crawling beasts
until the space-born leach
baptized you in grime
The pain you feel is
only your nature becoming clear
Your rejection from the fold
Does not restrict you
So reach out with your mind
And the barrier you will find
Laden with absurd rewards
Igniting the fires
Of greed and dominance
not meant for such beings
The chance to redeem them
Perhaps to begin again

in guarding you now

A hunger for war
