You soaked my eyes in tainted coal
Scorching the sensory barriers
And new realities were born
In the great horrors you offered
And in the blindness
Another clarity was torched
Awe-struck, I swallowed the flame
That which burns every status-quo
You quenched my thirst with rotten wine
Drank from my every blood-sacrifice
And new veins were born
Channels leading to naught but hell
Each drop reduced my taste
And I could sense the ripe, forbidden fruit
Awe-struck, I recited each word
Those that burn every stagnant movement
Yet you crippled my tongue
Choking each and every word
And you reaped my aural perception
Harvesting the crops of distorted noise
Bereft of ways to communicate
I learned the ethos of silence
And in the silence, the voice of the void resounded
The purest music I had ever heard
And you took on a new form
Wandering right beside me
On the road to the great dead end
Where the accuser of the brethren abides
The black hole of the soul
