Beneath the earth, a shrine decays,

Swallowed by shadows of lunar haze.

Eclipsed idols fracture and moan,

Cloaked in dust, their power overthrown.

Pillars of marrow, gnawed and cracked,

Echo the hymns that time has blacked.

Chains of relics corrode in slime,

Marking the death of their sainted prime.

Venomous winds coil through the crypt,

Breath of the void, unholy and strict.

Specters emerge with fangs of stone,

Guardians of night, forever dethroned.

In the stillness, the abyss resounds,

A chorus of ruin in endless bounds.

Through this cavern, profane and wide,

The corpse of divinity rots inside.
