Never cease, fall forever from skies above
Flood the lands below and bring us peace
Catch the water falling from the leaves
Across great bridges is where we walk
Where children play and the elders talk
Of days of light to never come
Let the rain pour down and the rivers run
Our mountains reach high and touch the clouds
Where the rainfall starts and the sun is shroud
Here we build temples to the rain
Where we sit in mass and solemn pray
We reach our hands out
We let them fill with cleansing water
Wash away our sins and doubts
From the rain come our sons and daughters
For this is our land –
Where the rain is always welcome
Where we wish for no sun to shine
Atop the mountains, through the forests
Upon the rivers, or our pride
Our glorious valleys which the water flows
They all come to together at the sea below
Boardwalks gather to the center docks
Surrounding our castle stacked high of rocks
How beautifully the rain runs off the walls
How calming it is to watch it fall
Blessed we, for we are drenched to our souls
This cold sticks to our skin like flesh to bone
Encase our dead in cinder caskets
Watch their corpses sink to the deep below
Life and death brought by the rain
Breathe it in to end the pain
I never want to leave -
Where the rain is always welcome
Where we wish for no sun to shine
Atop the mountains, through the forests
Upon the rivers, or our pride
