When Five Appeared in Mists and Gathered the First & Seventh Lyrics

Beneath the crest of heaven, when the coldness of Karsannu Saqatu had entered my dominion, there came a length of great thirst, and Tiamat's blood did flow through my veins. It was then that I beheld and sought to fathom the compassion of the daughter's crown, as it remained foreign to the outward vengeance of the bloodstone.

(The ancients wondered in curiosity about this matter, and knew that I must learn to dance with them in Masshu to make known the ways of immortal splendour. And thus a dream was given to me...)

There came to me a vision from beyond the towers of shadowing (where Lilith's children had made exodus from the West). Upon the mantle of Orion's belt, I witnessed the occasion of five (rays to Asaru's star), who in heaven dwell. Their countenance was like that of the children of the night and they were likened to the house of Ningishzidda's throne. My mortality trembled at their divine beauty, long of hair, pale of face, large of eye, and full in mouth. Stern and patient were they, on the foundation of Kia. I saw one boy and four goddesses of undying youth, yet on closer observation, it appeared to me that the center most goddess was bold of face and feminine of expression, indeed on closer observation, it appeared to me that the center most goddess was bold of face and feminine of expression, indeed she was "...the one of immortal androgyny."

Seated in the sixth throne of Asaru there was my sister, bearer of the sanctified crown. Beside myself, in witnessing, there was my twin of Asaru at my right side, who was thence summoned forth unto the mantle to take the first throne of Asaru in the easternmost fundament. It was then that I was called forth before immortal council, and was given honor to the seventh throne of Asaru besides my sister's hand, to give homage to the westernmost horizon. And so it came to be, that we would walk with earthly feet, to mourn for our mother, slain and severed...and they ruled once, it is said, over Magan.
