Like a tainted tongue after-taste, my hand permeated in death’s awake and offer

The inconclusive theories presenting little to no reassurance

Give success to one’s fall and defeat, this strife is not equal, but known by all life

An only chance to separate, test the limits, divide and struggle to fly

Life does not exist to the one on the ground as it does to the one in the sky

Life doesn’t exist because the world lives to see death

It wants to see its own death, it wants to see the way it’s going to die

One more lost with no cause and ultimately fucked

Smite biting tongue and swallowing pride

Sinking stomach, open the void to more time and more pain

Condemning fate with a twisted outlook pouring through the conscious state

Cleansed of the essence of humanity

I force a closed fist through the open door

The door as presented to all of us

Yet to most it appears locked without a key

This is the chance to gain purity

Pulling love back from the void it seeks

Compelled to thrive amongst emptiness

Building my life from what can’t be seen

World filled with darkness

Falling into chaos

Contemplating last breath

Of a life of sorrow

Nothing left to save us

No one there to judge us

Measurement of success

Displaced by our failure

The need for a god is no more, as humans love is what we truly adore
