Walking away in disgust

Wiping the dust from my eyes

I went down that road again

Content in retreat I look to begin

Until again maybe I will find

The illusive structures of fulfillment

I seek not which other hope to obtain

Artificial release to move on and on

This saga of lies

This pain which I endure

It is time to converge

Time to procure

Break this curse, this is the last deception

Enough tragedies abound if had worth could build palaces

Keep greatness reserved for those who deserve

Conflicting between expression and what was concurred

Expecting the well deserved becomes oddly absurd

Sinking downwards into the dark

Losing sight of what was once lost

Consciousness fades thoughts expire

Regretfully returning to the realm of all the lies surmounted

Bringing forth nocturnal visions

Faces of the past arisen

Tormenting me without reason

All that I can see is, more of all the fucking same shit

A thousand slow and painful deaths, each more sadistically excruciating

And deceptively final
