kind of disquiet!

My mind is drifting away

with the urge to pray,

to gain power again

in search of my Zen.

I know there’s no God

just a global artful fraud.

One small glimmer of hope,

sparking a fire, a flame to grope.

Possessed by the flame,

heat’s embrace cries my name.

I dance into the fire,

I put myself in the flame.

This is a spiritual faith-experience,

a solace giving molten essence.

While my body suffers,

my soul finds salvation.

my soul will be released.

Possessed by the flame,

death by fire is no shame.
