Aiming high and falling low

In a world driven by greed,

In a world soon to be gone,

Ruined by justified deeds.

We paint our future in shining white,

Compiling confused images -

A horizon bright like a rainbow

And beyond just black abyss.

A self-seeker race

Which crossed the line,

Headed for certain self – destruct,

Shutting off all ways out.

We suffocate on limitless power

To gain the ultimate goal –

to bear our crown of thorns,

And become hangmans of our own.

Making home an unlivable place,

Filled with trash and toxic waste.

Where gardens used to stand

Only scorched earth remains...
