Stared at the dark with my eyes opened wide, under lizard scales the sun it died

Brightness, colours fading from my sight, it slept in twilight to arise

Beyond this rainbow gate awaits the night... Pitch-dyed

I'm swallowed by the pit, suffocate in darkness

I'm strangled by a liquid eclipse

I'm trapped under the lid, drowned in Whiro's ocean

To drink up every drop of it!

No longer free I am, never to see light again

Nor feel the warmth upon my skin

In darkened sea forever out to swim...

Blackness in overflow...obscurity bleeds from my every pore

Wipes thoughts and hope and soul, I let them disappear in His black hole
