Set adrift in the brackish seas of time
Vashed by mailing waves
All consumed by confusion and distress
What was once great, now reduced to rubble
Consciousness give way to idleness
Coma-like inaction in the face of destruction
Our cities once great, our culture once noble
Our spirit once alive, our people once proud
Irrevocably scathed by curling flames of modernity
As a lamb wandering in the barren steppe,
We bleat and moan forever in search of forgotten pastures
Barbarity eludes us
passivity imbued deeper than which can be expelled
I weep for the misery which has been sentenced upon us
I curse my ancestors stagnation
I mourn the death of western light
Furious I stand in grey maelstroms of deception and loss!
