Achilles
Oh! Prince of Troy
You were a fool to believe
that at the end you would prove better than me
You spilled Patroclus’ blood on this field
I’ll rip your body apart and send you to the abyss
As between men and lions
there is no peace or pact
The edge of my sword
You will find!
I curse you to damnation
In Hades you shall lie
Deaf, still and blind
Hector
Oh! Myrmidon you think your rage lets you be
A wretched man, a reckless blasphemer
You crush the lives of men as if leaves
Yet will not live to see the fall of kings
As this abomination
Has brought us this impasse
The edge of my sword
You will find!
I curse you to damnation
Apollo’s bow and shaft
Will bring an end to your life
Muses
Hector launches his spear
But is blocked by Achilles’ shield
The heroes come closer
The bronze clash gets stronger
Olympus is shaking within!
Achilles
Oh! Prince of Troy,
I claim your life on this day
Drag you around the Scaean gates
The Gods bear witness of your defeat!
The price of glory is so hard to give
Muses
As this abomination
Is brought upon this land
With notes of death, rage and wrath
As glory and damnation
Light the fires in our hearts
And bring the heroes back
One more time
Odysseus
After days of constant pain
Achilles’ wrath ends with Priam’s pledge
Twelve days of grace have been arranged
As sorrow is transformed to grace
