Undeserving Poor Lyrics

I’ve got a little list of benefit cheats I’ll be rooting out

They will never be missed they will never be missed

Young ladies who get pregnant to jump the housing queue

Dads who won’t support the kids of ladies they have kissed

We subsidise the scroungers, the fake asylum seekers

Welfare queens come get your cheques and spend it on drug dealers

You travellers and gypsies, scroungers scum and thieves

Get on your bike, you don’t need food get on your knees and plead

The recession threw you out of work? Don’t be daft young man

It was your choice to earn no coin, your choice yourself to damn

You cannot feed your kids its clear you had too many

You feckless ruinous piece of shit they don’t deserve a penny

The rent made you bankrupt? Its clear you have no brain

You should have invested, then you’d make a gain

Look at me, I’m clever, I was born to take this place

With my hard work trust fund, my assets there is no trace

Tax is not for me, you plebs, I avoid the heat

That people like you will get, you dirty benefit cheat

Universal credit its waiting for you

We’re waiting with a sanction to save a bob or two

Your lack of means your lack of funds this is your choice

You have no right to have a say no right to have a voice

One question is have you tried, do you deserve

If you fail you’re a scrounger with a lot of nerve

Living in a world if shit is a choice of lifestyle

If you do not earn our money then you earn our bile

Get up get out you strive though it kills

Circumstances are you’re lazy! And only out for thrills

What do you mean your factory closed? It went abroad?

What you mean the robots came? Technology we applaud!

What do you mean your kids fell sick you couldn’t get to work?

That is your choice, man, you clearly chose to shirk!

And now you have no use and no role left to play

Human garbage, sickening spongers and feckless we portray

We would rather you die than show us our system fails

There is no alternative, money must prevail

You’ve been here for centuries, the plebs and the mob

The landless soldiers, paupers, in poverty you sob

Single mothers, workless fathers, you will never see your children have more

Because you are the undeserving poor
